About Hemlock Harbor
Hemlock Harbor, is a beautiful lakeside cottage nestled in a quiet cove on pristine Lake Sunapee, will be your oasis during this weekend retreat.
The heart of Hemlock Harbor is the warm and inviting Great Room. Walk out to the porch and onto a deck overlooking the lake. There is no lack of inspiration here.
Allow yourself time to delve into the deepest part of your creative being and feel the joy of discovery through art and writing.
General Retreat Schedule
Friday Evening
- Welcome reception and introductory activity begins at 6 PM
Saturday
- Morning creative session
- Mid-day activities: swim, hike, or spend quiet time writing
- Afternoon creative session
- Evening activity
Sunday
- Morning creative sessions
- Depart after lunch
You are free to join all or none of the scheduled activities. Remember, this is your time to relax and retreat.

Manuscript Editing
- You will have the opportunity to work with an editor for a manuscript review
- manuscripts must be received two weeks before retreat
- maximum of 10 pages
